My features this week have really no rhyme or reason. I feel hard for Don’t Sweat The Recipe’s Jalapeno Hush Puppies – they’re a perfect reason for me to serve up fish and chips! I also have a deep infatuation with Cooking with Carlee’s Haleakala Cake.. if not the cake then the name! But, ultimately, my love went to Live From Julie’s House Epic Pudding Cookies, and epic they were! They were a perfect addition to my daughter’s birthday party and loved by all!

Julie has a wide variety of simple recipes that look as though you’ve been slaving away in the kitchen all day. On my list to try – the Buffalo Chicken Dip and her Banana Nutella Oatmeal Muffins! A woman after my own heart, her blog is rich with recipes and DIY projects. Stop by and say hi to her!

The cookies came together easily with a whopping 3-4 cups of chips – I chose m & ms – with the recipe making about 2 dozen large cookies that you drop by the spoonful.
Julie also suggests a number of modifications to change up the recipe with both chips and pudding flavors!
Bake time on my oven was accurate to the recipe – perfect!
The cookies have kept their chewiness for about 3-4 days as well. I stored them in an air-tight container.

They were fantastic and a perfect addition to my daughter’s birthday party! Thank you to Julie for the wonderful recipe!

Be sure to stop by Uncookie Cutter for a peek at her feature!
